but I am confused.....why would someone come to Las Vegas to go kayaking.....dune buggying I could understand....4wd exploring I could unnerstand....but ...Kayaking.....I am so confused.

Well, there is the Colorado River...BUT...very good point and that would not be me, but my sister. She has done the Strip thing enough times to be bored with it, so she was looking for something a little different. Must be that Great Lakes mentality!!

We went up to The Lodge on Mt Charleston today. It was VERY nice. She decides she wants to hike one of the trails so we all went along. It was actually pretty hot at 77ºF. That cured her of wanting to hike Red Rock where there is no degree difference!!! I told her to come back in October. Tomorrow the Strip, mainly for the 16 yr olds. This oughta be real fun...(gotta love company) I am thinking family will get ONE visit where I go along with the entertaining...after that...figure it out on your own! It is seriously dipping into my video poker money!!!
