6. OUR factories don't belch smoke.
7.Everything you want, need or desire, whenever you want it, 24/7/365
8. Men, oh yeah, don't forget the men, lots of them all the time in various and assorted styles.
10. PALM TREES....galore!!
11. Homes with really tiny "yards"
12. Capriotti's
13. Nice fall weather
14.Our stunningly beautiful mountains and deep blue sky with bright golden sunshine and high heat/low humidity
15. Not only all of the above, but also easy to get to most of the greatest attractions in the country.
16. No income tax and a favorable business climate.
17. Recreation throughout our state and in other nearby states.
18. Nightlife/Daylife and our fantastic EDM scene.
19. CONSTRUCTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
20. Stucco, HOA's, and walled-in backyards
21. ^^^Irony in the "Stuff South Nevadan People Like" thread
22. Ellis Island BBQ and locals karoke night.
23. Great 'locals' deals on show tickets.
24. Plenty of organic produce from many sources.

26. Palo Verde and Pine Trees in the valley, add Lantanas to the mix, a natural Hummingbird feeder.
27. NO MOSQUITOES
28. No tolls on the freeways
29. Most buildings are newer
30. The pleasant friendly locals
31. Tourists coming to dump their money at the poker tables!
32. Proximity to family & friends left behind in SoCal (poor souls)
33.Distance from family back east
34.No alligators
35.Better variety of grocery stores
36. Cliff jumping at Nelson's Landing
37. Nail salon, tanning place and dry cleaner in every strip mall...except for the dozens which stand unoccupied.
38. Proximity to some great National Parks
39. NO SNOW!!!
40. The only place I can see 4th of july fireworks two nights in a row.

41. Lots of tasty microbrews!
42. VFR flight weather 300 days a year.
43. Red Rock Canyon and Valley of Fire
44. Never getting lost while driving because you can always see the Stratosphere.

I absolutely adore this post, thank you for starting it! I have to kind of butt in though and ask #18 what is EDM? And also #15, what do you consider the greatest attractions in the country?

I love it I hope ya'll keep it going, gives me more reason to want to eventually move there... it's nice to see the good things and not focus on the bad for once in a long while!!!

I would consider some of the greatest attractions to be Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Redwoods, Mt. Zion...

LMAO! I was like hmmm I grew up in the Redwoods of Northern California, and it's no easy task unless you like a good long road trip!!
