In CA 10 years ago, I remember we had this great publication for buying and selling used stuff called the Recycler.

Is there a popular equivelant in Vegas? I found autotrader, but thats mostly vehicles.

I can usually find anything on google but i'm stumped here.

Utah has a site called KSL which covers the entire state.

Something like this would be so convenient for Vegas to have.

Most people are. I use it a lot to buy and sell on there. Wish there was an alternative.

I've had some recent bad experience with Craigslist. Ads keep getting flagged for some reason and when I asked for help or ideas as to why, I was accused of being someone else who was trying to run a business on there =/

The whole anonymous thing doesn't work well when it comes to online ads. A great alternative would be something where you would have to make an account and be held accountable for how well you sell/buy goods.

Wow, what a zoo Craigs List is. I'll def. be looking for specialist alternatives.

I was just thinking it's tough to justify a $4k tv when theyre selling for a fraction of that used and in perfect working order.

Penny Saver worked pretty good in some other places I lived. Don't know if it works here. I primarily used craigslist all the time where I moved from. Bought and sold, never had any issues.

Here I find it hard to weed through the pages and pages of listings. I also find that if you list anything it gets swallowed up and lost too. The few things I have listed on the Vegas craigslist have gotten me e-mails from obvious scammers wanting to know if they can pay someway other than cash. Items that I know I could have moved if I lived somewhere else.

Is it just because the economy sucks? or is there something that works better here in Vegas?
