Hello all. I just started researching flights from Reno to Vegas, and I'm floored that I can't find a simple, non-stop flight from Reno to Vegas, or vise versa. What in the world? Please tell me there's a secret to this. I'm in the Sacramento area, and it looks like I'll have to pay over $200. What happened?

Where are you looking? Southwest has about 10 non-stops between Reno and Las Vegas daily.

I suspect SW is it. And does not appear in other listings.

Have to go to Southwest Airlines to find them.

There is no other way...except to drive...

Just looked on expedia. I guess expedia doesn't support southwest? Thanks for the info.

Southwest is employee owned and does not advertise or discount fares on other travel sites. You can get some amazing deals if you watch for sales on Southwest.

As much as I like Southwest Airlines for their friendly service, Southwest is a publicly traded corporation, not employee owned.

I apologize if I am wrong but I know in the past that Southwest was not publicly traded.

Here is the correct info:

OK please tell me I'm doing something wrong. When on southwest.com, I filled in Sacramento to Vegas round trip for 2 adults. I have no rewards or anything. The cheapest for both round trip flights is about $800. Are you kidding me? Can someone check this for me. This can't be right. It's only a 9 hour drive.

Sacremento to LV???? I thought you were looking for Reno to LV??? You've got to book in advance...or be prepared to pay out the nose.

I'm looking at both, but live only 30 min from Sac and 2 hrs from Reno. I know Sac is a bit more expensive, but not terrible.
