Hello,
Is it possible to find a 1 BR in Las Vegas in a safe area for about $600/month or less?

Bonus points for washer/dryer in the place and if it has a pool.

TIA

There is a great place in Summerlin called the Summerlin Entrada Luxury Apartments. One bedrooms run about $520

If you seek something more away from the city thats more peaceful and quiet, there is a place in Centennial Hills called the Pavilions Apartments. One bedrooms run about $630 I believe. This complex is also brand new

Here you go. I used to live in this area and it is safe. This is $600 a month and has a pool AND washer/dryer in unit.

Paradise Square apartments on Tropicana and Harrison Ave. It is right on Paradise park too and allows pets with no pet rent. PM me if you want because if you move in off of my referral I think we both get a discount. 592 for 1 bedroom with water included in that number. On site laundry and pool. I'm very pleased with the place. To add to that, I've kept my AC on lower than the house I was living in before and got a got a bill that was 1/4 the size. I know I sound like I work there but you also get 1 month free rent and if your credit is good you can get no security deposit.

I'm surprised by the responses so far, I thought it would be another "are you serious?" thread.

If $600 is reasonable for a nicer place, could I find a 1-bedroom or studio in a working class area for $450-500?

You can now get a studio apt for about $345 a month. But it comes with furnished "pets." That's the only downside i would think.

You know what "working class" mean in Las Vegas right? It's where the "working girls" are.

I moved here in 2006 and I was surprised that apartment rents have dropped dramatically since then. I was surprised to find out I could now get my own apartment on a minimum wage job. My studio apartment I just got is $365 a month and that includes cable and telephone. All I have to pay for is electric.

$365 a month? That neighborhood has to be questionable
