I rode the C-Line from Centennial Hills to the strip (near Wynn and Treasure Island).

Not having to sit through 50 stops between the start and end and not needing to make transfers in shady neighborhoods made the trip to the strip by bus not bad at all.

I was wondering if express bus service to the strip is limited to only Centennial Hills. Nothing like this from Summerlin etc?

There will be a new express route called West Cliff Airport Express designed to connect the Suncoast Casino to Downtown, the strip, and McCarran International Airport.

This will be the first time that a bus line directly connects Downtown/Strip to the airport. However, there will only be one stop on the strip, which is Tropicana at LV Blvd.

The service begins on 12/12/2010 and will operate approximately every 20-30 minutes during peak hours.

This will be great for tourists who stay in Fremont St, MGM, NYNY, Excalibur, or Tropicana as they will have a direct bus to the airport.

Sounds good. I just found some details on the RTC site.

Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) |November 2010 Service Change Information (http://rtcsnv.com/transit/servicechange/index.cfml#westcliff - broken link)

I guess it is supposed to attract more tourists to Suncoast so they will have easier access there, to the strip and back to the airport without needing rental cars and taxis.
