While I agree this doesn't make LV a bad place to be in general, I don't agree with dismissing it with excuses.

Residents need to take note, and take responsibility for actively working with law enforcement to correct this in the bad areas and make sure the good areas avoid gradually becoming bad areas. Otherwise over time LV may gradually become a bad place to be in general.

All three are relatively close to (one is exactly at) where I-15 and US-95 intersect. I think we all already knew to avoid those areas, right?

Nothing new here...

And all three are at least a factor of three off the bad areas of LV. The study is a piece of fecal matter.

Not to mention are they taking into account Henderson, North Las Vegas, etc, or just Las Vegas again? Detroit is bad too, but there is Pontiac, Romulus, Flint, Troy...other areas around the "known" city that may be nice.

With all the destitute people in this town, at this time, highest unemployment rate in the country, this is cheerful news to me. Where and when do we celebrate, and for how long?

Given the desperation of so many people in this town, I'm suprised every neighorhood in this valley isn't plagued by crime.

This has been going on for almost 3 years now, and I haven't been mugged once or have my house broken into once in the last 3 years.

I celebrate each and every day. And not even a kidnapping attempt!

Some of the info is out of date. Number 7 in Atlanta WAS dangerous when Techwood Homes was there but it was torn down.
