We're coming to Vegas next weekend and bringing our 5 lb. Maltese. I can't remember, are there many restaurants on the strip that have outdoor dining?

Probably asking too much, but does anyone know which ones allow toy breed dogs in their outdoor dining areas?

Thanks bunches! Jules

Mon Ami Gabi at Paris is probably the best choice, but if the weather is nice prepare for a long wait. Harley Davidson Cafe has a number of tables outside. The Tequila place outside Monte Carlo isn't out in the sun dining, but it is open to the outdoors downstairs, a similar situation to many of the restaurants in Fashion Show Mall's exterior dining area. I'm sure there are others too, probably too many to remember. As for the dog, I can't see too many places turning you down, but I can't say for sure. You see them around in the strangest places at times so its not like most would say no.

Dogs are allowed at all sorts of places with outdoor dining. The second part wasn't helpful and not funny.

Thanks tho. Jules

My friend and I have dined in all of these restaurants on the Strip. Mon Ami Gabi is good, I like the location and the restaurant. Diablos Cantina at Monte Carlo is lousy. Hard Rock on the Strip has outdoor dining in the balcony, nice views at night. Morels at the Palazzo is ok. Gilleys has a few tables outdoors at the Treasure Island. RA Sushi, Stripburger and El Segundo Sol all have outdoor dining at the Fashion Show Mall. Over at the Planet Hollywood, PBR, PF Changs and Cabo Wabo. Nine Fine Irishmen at NY NY has outdoor seating as well. As mentioned above Harley Davidson has outdoor seating with a nice view of Crystals.

Honestly speaking Las Vegas is still lacking in the alfresco dining scene but it has improved quite a bit compared to years past. A great location off Strip with outdoor dining is Town Square, farther away in the District at Green Valley Ranch and Boca Park, both have nice outdoor dining scene. Goodluck with the weather!!!!

+1

That's the only place where a dog belongs in a restaurant.
