I'm looking for a good company to repair the garage door at my condo.
Problem has to do with the sensor. You need to keep the control button pressed until the door is shut completely. Would like a reliable company to come and have a look at it.
Suggestions?

Before you pay for anything, give the sensor eyes on each side a good clean...and check to be sure you have a solid light on on each of the 2 sensors that tells you that they haven't gotten out of whack & aren't aimed properly at each other..depending upon who installed them, you may have to look underneath or on the backside to find the light on the sensors..

Just adjust the down pressure 1/4 turn to the + side and try closing it. Make sure it will still reverse though.

We used D&G Garage Door Service dggarage.com

We had the spring break several years ago; the cars were trapped in the garage as the door was extremely heavy with no spring to assist. The service tech was wonderful. He replaced the broken spring and added a second one. Very satisfied with their work. Like any contractor here in Vegas, I would recommend you do your homework. Look them up on BBB and NV State Contractor's Board to make sure the business license is valid and if there are any complaints against them. I prefer when the company is bonded too. Good luck.

My friend Dennis Hunt recommends D & G. Vegas Deals

Pioneer Overhead doors installed ours originally, so we've called them three times. First time was iffy, but other two times they were great.

It's an up and down type of business.

I don't know, most the repairmen I have dealt with have run an open-and-shut type of business.
