I'm planing my trip to Vegas, for next year. I want to stay in one of the Stations Hotels off the strip, because I want to be as close to "real" everyday Las Vegas and away from The Strip, which to be honest I'm not that into.

Can someone here, give me there preferred Station and which one is the most affordable out of them all, cause the website prices are all over the place.

Thanks guys.

there are no station casinos on the strip, the closest is Palace Station on Sahara just west of the I-15

You might want to look at Texas Station. A bit better than its next door neighbor, Fiesta/Rancho.

Both should be inexpensive and they are not too far from the Strip at all. Fiesta is very smoky though, just to warn you. Texas Station is a slight step up.

Further away is the Santa Fe, on the same level as Texas Station, maybe even a bit better, but probably more $$$

My first choice for a Stations Casino would be Red Rock, but it's $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ and much further away from the Strip, it's in Summerlin. But beautiful!

And most likely place to be invited to join a street gang.

Oh stop Buzzy, I'm in there regularly, nobody bothers you at all. You'd be surprised at the number of tourists who stay there in order to save some dough as opposed to staying in one of the Strip hotels.

The OP needs the dumps airics, he is looking for the most affordable. I like RRS, Aliante and GVR too, they would be my first choices, but they have the highest room rates as well. Unless the OP can get a deal, sometimes I see specials on room rates.

I'd also look at Rampart Casino, The Orleans and the Suncoast. Although they are not Stations properties, but probably quite nicely priced and for the most part, locals places

Sunset Station was always my favorite and there is the mall across the street too.

You might also want to check out the South Point. Its not a Stations property, but has sort of the same vibe and is way down on the south end of the strip. You are still on LVBLVD, but away from all the stuff that makes the strip what it is.

Fiesta is horrible. Which one did OJ commit the crime that won him residence?
