I was driving down LV Blvd South last night and noticed the shells of two new buildings (curved and about 5 stories so far) just to the south of Circus Circus, on the same side. I'm curious. Does anyone know what these are/who is building them? Thanks for any info.

Was that the Echelon project? Because I thought that only the foundation of Echelon was built, not 5 stories? Thanks

Those are abandoned projects and have been sitting for about 2 years like that. They really mar the strip and are an eyesore and I don't know for the life of me why the government does not force them to raze them and restore landscaping to the lots or sell them to somebody that will develop something on them. I think it is a real detraction from the part of our city that visitors most see. If I were a visitor I would not get a good impression sitting in a $200 a night resort hotel room and having to look at that. It is bad enough we have abandoned half built projects that WE have to look at everyday but it is even worse when visitors have to see them.

Boyd's to busy running the 'old' Coast properties in the ground. Maybe this eyesore (Echelone project) is contributing to Steve
Wynn going blind????
