It's primarily July and August, but can start in June and go into September.

Wikipedia says that Vegas averages about three days of rain for July. We've had at least three already, right? Hopefully the rest of the month is a bit drier. I've only been here for a couple of weeks officially, but I much preferred the clear skies and dry heat that greeted my family. Not complaining, but the clear weather my first few days here was much more pleasant than I had anticipated for a Vegas summer; hoping it can return to that!

Yeah I loved all the clear skies when I first moved here too but believe me, we needed the rain and it's a nice change of pace after a while.

Wait until October. You'll think you died and went to Heaven.

Agreed. There is nothing to female dog about.
Shut your pie hole and do what I do on a rainy day:
Drive down to the bad areas of North Las Vegas and pick up a meth addicted pre-op asian tranny then head to Budget Suites and make the most of it.

And yet, several parts of the valley have had either a light sprinkle or NO rain whatsoever.

Watching the news, it's hard to believe all the rain and wind that went on. Up by me we had a sprinkle and that was about it....

With the partial sun/clouds it sure does make for some beautiful sunrises and sunsets though. Last night, the sky had bright orange and pink hues...just gorgeous. I took a photo, only why the heck can't you put any photos in the picture thread?
