In September I will have 6 months with the Cosmopolitan, and I would like to transfer out of the pool before it closes for the winter (and avoid a lay-off) but I am not sure what I will be qualified for, I have a near perfect standing with my managers at the pool but I only really have retail, cashiering experience

Is there anything else I might qualify for that they may let me transfer too?

Go see the employment counselor and tell them what you’re interested in. It’s not rocket science in this industry. Learn to be outstanding in customer service and become proficient manager. Job skills become secondary after you have mastered the art of customer service.

What do you do at the pool?

I would transfer just about anywhere to keep my foot in the door. Maybe one of their retail shops?

Even though my 6 months is up in September, rhe positions Cosmopolitan has open are all mgmt positions I will NEVER be qualified for, and I don't know anybody who likes me enough or know them well enough to let me transfer into their department. Looks like once october is here I am going to be laid off, oh well back to poverty and desperation once again

Security hiring part time only, 12-24 hrs a week at best, I need a solid 40 hrs a week just to get by, and it MUST be at least $10 an hr. nothing less. But like I said, I'm not qualified for security
