FYP.

I'm still amazed at the huge variance in quotes, both those I've received myself as well as those reported by others on here from time to time. State Farm & Allstate have both given me great rates (tho I guess it helps to be low risk, have no tickets/accidents & have good credit).

Maybe I should talk to Geico/Progressive/etc just in case they can give me a miraculous rate? I dunno ...

Good luck with 21st airics, I'm sure they'll give you complimentary everything at that rate - maybe LVHooker contracts through them :-)

I put those three vehicles in my insurance calculator at progressive with 100/300/100 for liability and uninsured motorist. I did not put anything on medical payments and used $500 for a deductible for comp and collision. I came up with $6782 for a 6 month premium. You really a lucky guy Airics to have your insurance so low. Even the 21st Century quote is much cheaper than I could get. I guess I will always be stuck in my old Escort even if I got a better job.

Geico is much cheaper for me than any other company out here. I'm paying under $150 per 6 months on a 2004 vehicle in 89121.

Hey mine isn't quite as bad... I have Geico for $930 every 6 months. We have a 06 BMW 750Li and 08 Ford Escape Hybrid. BIL and UM is 250/500K, property damage is 100K, no med payments. Comp and collision deductables are $100 and $250 respectfully, with roadside assistance and rental for 30/900.

21st Century wants (with their generous 2% online only discount) $1789.39.

Since I have some time on my hands, I just got a state farm quote and it is solid $2,302.22.

Check Amica too. They were cheaper than Geico for me and they offer 1 year policies so you don't have to renew so often.

Motivated me to punch in all my info for a quote. 100/300/100 with 500 collision deductible and 100 comprehensive deductible AND 100/300 uninsured. Two cars, Honda S2000 and a Honda Accord. Two drivers with no accidents or tickets. My quote came in at $841.45 per 6 months. This is actually $1 more than my current policy with Liberty Mutual.

Thanks for this thread though, it is motivating me to shop around insurance. I've always been able to save a few hundred every time I've bothered to research insurance and switch companies.

@yellowsnow thanks for the suggestion, checking them out next.

*edit* Amica was $500 more than Liberty Mutual and Geico for my household per six months.
*edit* Progressive was $5 less per month for vehicles, but that included a discount for home insurance which was $220 more per year.
