Yes, they require a minimum of 3.0 GPA and no drug convictions, very easy! It's a good school overall, but it's in Chicago and even though it's dangerous...... it's no match to D.C

Thank you! I live on Koval and Trop and although it's not a 'good' area from what I've heard, I feel far safer than I felt in DC or in Chicago. Also is a 15 minute walk to school and really close to work because all I need to do is to hop on SDX.

I got really lucky that the apartment was just remodeled with fresh carpet, a/c and vinyl floors.

See? It's all relative. Some of these people are moving from worse area's than any of our worse area's. So while I would never live down on Koval/Trop, (I do visit Koval/Flamingo once a month though) other's may find it a little slice of heaven...for awhile anyway.

I'm thinking of moving there too. Did the transition work out smoothly, complicated?? How long was it before you found a place?

It's smooth. As long as you have some $$$ because work isn't easy to come by. Places to live are available everywhere, there are lots of ghettos especially around the strip and UNLV. Nothing crazy like the mid-atlantic, northeast and midwest, but it's still not the best areas. If I will ever call Vegas, home, then I'd live in Summerlin or Henderson. Or if you get lucky, you can buy an apartment at the aria, like my co-worker's son
