Hi, everyone. I want to invest in real estate in Las Vegas
(somewhat between 80K and 130K). As I live in a apartment in Chicago,
Can anyone tell me:
- Is year of building an important matter for future value ?
- Does single story homes have better values compared to one story homes ?
- How big is a comfortable house in square feet ?
My overall concern is: what will give a home the best appreciation in the future ?
Thank you sincerely for your advices.

Single story and one story homes are the same. Are you sitting on some cash? What makes you want to be a long distance landlord and buy here?

It's probably a bad idea....no matter what the answer.

Questions like that (assuming it was serious) always make me wonder how these people accumulated a non-trivial amount of money in the first place... Inheritance, I guess.

how is your silent partner Rod Blagoivich doing these days?

OP as for investment for future appreciation? It's a total gamble right now as nothing will uptick for many long years and no significant amount is predicted for at least 10+ yrs imo. At that rate, you'd be better off investing in something else.
