Back to original programming....

I am very thankful to have a working relationship with my neighbors. I'm a DIYer, and my hobbies are loud, messy, and bright (welding). I'm always doing something out in my driveway, and I'm sure "technically" its against the Summerlin North bi-laws. But, I always clean up my messes (No oil spots, sawdust, or crap on my driveway), and I always lend a hand when a neighbor needs something. I don't work outside after dark either.

There should be no reason we all can't get along. Its a compromise we all have to do when we live in neighborhoods with houses built 3ft away from each other. Welcome to city life.

So, can you run an online store from your home in Summerlin selling cosmetics and health care products or is that against the rules? We make (mix) the cosmetics at home.

A quick call to the Summerlin Association would give you the answer. You can call and not give your name.

This issue should also be addressed in your Convenants, Condtions and Restrictions.

You can even call the City of Las Vegas (if where you live in Summerlin is within city limits) or Clark County government offices if you live in the areas of Summerlin NOT within city limits.

The posts about the home business are three years old. Hopefully resolved by now.

He did, but the thread was discussing home based businesses by the time it died out in 2011.

I don't think a link was ever possible. There is no "Summerlin" rule. It will be in the local HOA rules.

And some of the HOAs ban any business. You have to have a business license from the City of Las Vegas to run a business in north Summerlin. So the HOA will know...

Most places don't have such a rule. And those places only in the Summerlin Master plan won't.

There are Las Vegas rules about barking dogs but they don't include quiet hours as far as I know.
