I guess I have to take back my "there's nothing wrong with these places" comment. Refer to my postings about our latest problem in the chat thread.

I don't see any good solution for this problem for those townhomes and all the similar floor plan townhomes DR Horton built from Aliante to Henderson over the last 10 years.
The smallest unit has the garage downstairs and the living space all upstairs on one level. This plus being smaller overall should make the summer electric bills much more reasonable.
The small unit only has parking for one vehicle though.
Yes, the smaller unit only has space for one vehicle, so the second vehicle has a spot in open parking. And if people live in a unit 2 or 3 and have more than 2 cars, they also park in the open parking. It's a first come first served kind of thing, with extra parking all through the neighborhood.

And the a/c situation sucks to put it mildly. Right now, the weather is great, windows open and a/c off until the end of May next year. So that's a bonus right there.

These are the Courts at Aliante built by DR Horton... Pretty Nice Townhomes - especially for the price.

Completely butchered by this video. LOL!

Bad pictures are a pet peeve of mine... Bad Videos trying to be cutesy are an even bigger pet peeve.

There are ways to avoid it. All my videos have copyright material in them. They all have been up for about 5-6 years. No issues at all. Mostly because they do more good for the artist than anything.
I wonder if this builder paid Epic Records for this music.
