I searched and didn't find an answer sooooo, what do you suggest the best venue to purchase tix for the George Strait concert at MGM in February? I.E., the least amount of price gouging preferably.

Ticketmaster, pay face value.

The trick is to buy the tickets a few days before they go on sale to the general public. How do you do that? Buy a LOT of concert tickets. And they'll start letting you buy a day or two early.

I get front row center all the time because of that.

Just checked, the pre-sale was on 10/27 and is now over. Tickets go on sale to the public on 10/29. They cost $72 or $128 each, depending how close you want to get.

Default Tickets

I just saw Jimmy Buffett at the MGM last weekend. The day of the show you go on Stub Hub. And all the scalpers who cant get rid of there tickets drop the price.

I got 2 each 10th row seats for 200.00. They also had guys in the Casino trying to sell tickets right before the show.

Or you go to Ticketmaster a few days before they go on sale and get those same Jimmy Buffett tickets for $120 each.

It is not at all hard to get good seats for face value. You don't have to go the scalper route.

Default Mgm

Presales are nice. But I prefer to buy below cost. And if I have something better that comes up. Im not locked in to going. Or giving the tickets to my kid.

We had good tickets to see Madonna on her Sweet Sticky tour at the MGM Grand and then she made her concert her political. We were able to sell our tickets to a ticket agency. A big hulking man came to our hotel room and gave us cash for the tickets. It was the day of the concert.

Yeah, I HATE it when artists make their songs political! I mean, really. What business do artists like Bruce Springsteen, or Crosby, Stills and Nash, or Al Green have politicizing music, anyway?
