Im planning on coming to vegas for my 1st Time in March during the Week for Spring Break and MArch Madness. I was curious how the Monte Carlo and Planet Hollywood are for staying at? Also, where are the low limit table games located such as $5 minimums or cheaper? I could do $10 but thats the max I dont want to be playing $25 min. (referencing Blackjack, roulette, Craps) Also, Im coming to sports Bet I was looking at advice on where to go bet? Also if anyone has some good Ideas on where to get cheap meals drinks, and must SEE clubs, activities ETC feel free to share!

Casino Royal is probably where you will find the lowest limits and best odds, on the strip. However, there are plenty of $10 tables available all over the strip. Las Vegas is not like Atlantic City where the minimum bet goes sky high later in the evening.

Most of the major casinos have good (comfortable) sports books, but if you are a true gambler, then the Las Vegas Hilton is good choice, as they offer a lot of money lines, and very competitive odds. It's not on the strip, but the monorail stops there.

I don't know how you define sky high, but I do frequently see the limits go up at night and on weekends. If I'm already at the table and they raise the limits, I can continue to play at the lower limit.

Cheap Meals/Drinks: Most casinos have a food court. Bill's Gamblin' Hall, O'Shea's and Casino Royale are the least expensive overall on the Strip; of course, you get what you pay for. Head up north to Fremont Street in downtown Vegas for better overall values in everything.

Clubs: Assuming that you are a guy traveling solo, you will be waiting forever to get into a "hot" club. Use your favorite search engine and type in "Las Vegas club crawl" and you will probably find some alternatives. If you're of "Spring Break" age, you may as well hang out at Rockhouse (Imperial Palace) and Carnaval Court (Harrah's).

(Free) Activities: The Bellagio Fountains, The Mirage Volcano, People Watching. Take a pass on the Sirens show in front of TI. Walk in/around Cosmopolitan, Bellagio, Caesars Palace, Venetian, Wynn/Encore.

Monte Carlo and Planet Hollywood are both decent mid-range properties. Planet Hollywood may be a little flashier in the common areas. Skimpy-dressed lady dealers in the "Party Pit" area; of course, the odds are (even) less in your favor.

Considering this forum may be primarily made up of locals who don't hit the Strip, you may find Trip Advisor to be a more useful source.

Don't forget the MGM lions on that list of free stuff! I could have watched them for hours!

Also, the Dealertainers at Imperial Palace are pretty cool. We saw Michael Jackson dealing blackjack and got a free show by Tina Turner!

Also, I agree the Sirens show at TI was not really what I expected, but I would still say it might be worth it for a first timer, just because they haven't seen it before.

Also the Monte Carlo and Planet Hollywood have 5 dollar limit tables at certain times of the day. I am a frequent stayer to the Monte Carlo and I love that it does not get THAT crowded during peak gambling times. My favorite sports book on the strip would have to be MGM, but it is true The Hilton has the best sports book.

It's not. In fact it's one of the worst. Once upon a time they had a reputation for the best lines and taking large action. I now find the lines at Coast Casinos to be routinely better. The cocktail waitresse are not exactly eye candy either (think 60+). Last but not least, the people working the windows have a limited mental capacity... if you catch my drift.
