2 hrs south to Calico Ghost Town....two hrs North to Rhyolite 3 hrs to the other north to ZION 2 hrs south to OATMAN [a VERRRRY strange lil town]

I know this kinda pushes what you asked for but each one is a good "daykiller"

And if ya decide on ZION dont miss Grafton....all thats left is a church a house and a couple of cabins but a NEAT town.

Lake Havasu.... See the London Bridge.. The one from the song not the one with Big Ben on it..... You could either drive or drive to laughlin and then a jet boat down the river canyons to Havasu....

Drive up the 15 to ZZYZZX Road and see a weird Utopia that was built in the 1940's..Or at least whats left of it...

Or up the 93 to Great Basin National Park...

Big Ben is the name of a bell.

It's part of the Great Clock at the end of the Palace of Westminster. Big Ben is located in a tower called St. Stephen's. St. Stephen's tower is leaning significantly -- it's almost as good these days as a visit to Pisa, Italy.

The bridge you're thinking of is likely Tower Bridge. London Bridge (from the nursery rhyme) is indeed on Lake Havasu.

Big Ben has nothing at all to do with any bridges.

We now resume our regularly-scheduled bickering.

"Well, it's just after eight o'clock, and time for the penguin on top of your television set to explode."

"How'd he know that was going to happen?"

"It was an inspired guess."

That would be St. George. No S.
I need to get back over there sometime while the weather is nice. They should have finished repairing the bike trails from the last time we were there. Which is about a year ago.

And what does it mean to be born within sound of Big Ben?

You forgot the funniest part of that sketch.

"So what's on the telly then?"

"Looks like a penguin."
