Does anyone have any info on St. Rose Domincan Hospital? Did you get good care and do they have good doctors/staff?

I had a retired Navy buddy who had hip surgery at the Henderson location.
He said it was the best care he has ever received. Granted, most of his previous care was at Navy and VA Hospitals.

Had a Laminectomy there last October. In for a day, no problems.

Never used St. Rose, but never heard anything bad in the 48 years I've been here, except the nuns will smack you with a ruler if you try to steal extra Jello. They are famous for their burn unit. Was originally St. Rose De Lima, but the Dominican Sisters changed the name. Rose de Lima Campus

everything depends on why you would be in the hospital.

Good experiences at the San Martin campus, okay experience at the Sienna Campus.

Although I have heard (from friends) that as far as working with you on payments or discounts, St. Rose is one of the worst hospitals to work with.

I'm there right now waiting for discharge papers for my son. Our pediatrician sent us to their ER yesterday when a treatment to open his airways didn't help much. He's 20 months, so this is the pediatric area. Everyone was nice, though the er doc could have a better bedside manner. The doc we spoke to today was great. Didn't talk down or above our heads, didn't seem rushed, very nice. It may have been Barraga since that is written on the board, but I'm not sure. Nursing staff hit or miss but that has always been my experience anywhere.

We've also been to the quick care here before which was fine but a long wait.
