It appears that Blockbuster closed down some time ago at the closest mall to us...South Nellis area and since we don't have Internet at our seasonal condo I wonder if anyone knows where you can rent movies. I see there is something called a redbox in the Albertsons but I looked online at their site and it says to reserve your movie online and pick it up at your closest Redbox. Again, we don't want to bother signing up for internet as we're only down for a week or two at a time. Any help would be great and we don't mind driving a few miles to find a regular video store.

You don't have to reserve a movie online. Just go to the Redbox kiosk and see what they have. Plenty of titles to choose from. About a dollar a day. After 30 days(about) the movie is yours to keep.

Wow, that's quite the contraption...Do you just put money into it like a vending machine or slide your credit card?

Credit card. You can also return them at any redbox. You don't have to go back to the same one you rented the DVD from if it's inconvenient.

Thanks again...That makes life a little easier! So looking forward to coming down the end of the month for a short stay...It's minus 14 celcius at the moment up here and I hear its t-shirt weather for us down there now. :-)

Boonies of Canada, from what I remember. I'm not sure they have Redbox in frickin' Elko, let alone the frozen north. Smartass.

Is that resale place you mentioned earlier online or a brick and mortar? Yes, I know how to use google, but I'm feeling lazy and you brought it up 'eh.
