Any suggestions for good New York pizza in Las Vegas preferably not too far from North Las Vegas? I apologize because I am sure this topic has been beaten to death but a search wasn't very helpful.

Default Omg!

You New Yawkahs and yer New Yawk style pizzsa!

I swear if someone blindfolded you New Yorkers, transported you to NY but told you you were somewhere else then gave you true NY pizza you would claim it wasn't as good!

This type of thread always makes me wonder why if the pizza, sweet tea, BBQ, jumbalaya or whatever is so great and important to have to have the authentic version, why did you LEAVE the place where it's authentic?

Where can a person find good Iowa-style sweet corn?

I'm going to make notes of any pizza suggestions, though. But I won't fold it in half to eat it.

SO TRUE!!!! I've never seen such misplaced snobbishness about food than when a New Yorker claims NY has the best pizza. Give me a break! Nothing could be farther from the truth.

While they dont claim to be new york style (they advertise as Chicago style), Rosati's is probably the best pizza in the area. There is Italian Delights on Craig and Lamb which is new york style, but not outstanding. Pretty much Rosatis up in NLV.

Go to Spaghetti and Co. which is at the intersection of Ann/Simmons (next to Denny's). The pizza there is truly a NY style compared to Rosati's (very good but Chicago style).

In Las Vegas, there is Settebello. And then there's "everyone else." But Settebello is Naples pizza. You know, where they invented it. New York pizza is thin crust, wood or coal fired (preferably coal). Just google "coal-fired pizza" and try them all out.

PS -- New Haven pizza is five times better than New York. And 100 times better than Chicago. (But still only half as good as any VPN in Naples.)

I will be checking it out. I'm always looking for good pizza.
