The best value in prime rib is probably at Ellis Island. I didn't have it on this trip (did do their steak and eggs breakfast special a couple of times), but on previous trips I was astounded at how good it was for the money (currently $12.99 from looking at the current menu.)

Not a flashy place, but very good food for great prices.

So if you have not been there recently you might try it again. Reasonably crowded to so the word must be out at least locally.
Bob Taylor's has been there for decades starting from when it really was a ranch miles from town. So it's bound to vary over time.

Disclaimer: I have never actually gone in search of steak since the Aku Aku closed. But we're always on the lookout for someplace different to eat. So I'm not a steak aficionado. I'll eat it, but usually after I've burned it on the grill, or since I'm on a low salt diet, I'll order one without seasoning and a baked potato if that's all the N/S they can offer.
