Hello everyone, Just some feedback and a BIG Thank You to all of the folks who answered the questions I have asked over the last 2 years about moving to LV. We finally got here October 9 after a 6 day trip across the country 10 states and visits to two friends one in Davenport area of Iowa and the other in Albuquerque New Mexico. We had a dog and cat in the car with us also but they were great and traveled with ease to our surprise. Many folks helped us with our decision to move here and from our perspective is was great receiving their information. Your honest opinions do count and people listen. So again thanks and I look forward to more threads to comment on.

Congrats and major respect for traveling with a dog and a cat across the entire US....it would be cool if you posted more as the weeks went by what your early experiences in LV are like, too. :-)

Welcome to Las Vegas. It will take some adjustments but you'll love it here. You'll have some frustrations getting settled into the new town because everything will be different than what you're used to, but mostly it should be fun. When my family and I moved here many years ago we traveled cross country with a cat. It was no trouble at all. Let us know how you like it as you start discovering new things.
