Can you even get tickets for individual games? I read that Cox Cable is going to carry the games, but they didn't know yet if there would be a premium.

As long as I can get some of the WVU games on the telly I'm happy; but would like to get the Rebels' games too. I saw Tark last year at a tournament WVU was playing in at The Orleans. He didn't look well. He'll be at all the games though. Thanks to the ID 10 T that fired him, it took this long to get the program back to 1990s standards.

As for football, it has always been a local mystery as to why the town (and by 'town' I mean the boosters club) doesn't demand as much from them as we do basketball. Or maybe why there isn't as much money and effort put into it. Maybe because there's not as much money to be made from UNLV football.

Buzz123, I went here to get tickets for individual games:

http://ev2.evenue.net/cgi-bin/ncomme..._utmk=57866787

Scroll down and pick the game you want. Also, the UNLV site was cheaper than Studhub.com

I used to sit up there. I would go to the games and scout the stands for better seats and upgrade. It's not rally that bad to be up there though, the stadium is not that huge in the first place.

Now I'm right next to the student section which is fun.

Thanks. There really are no bad seats in T&M.

So we barely beat Dixie State the other night in overtime.

Lot's of people are freaking out.

It was just an exhibition though. I think the Rebs got a little over confident. Shot really poorly in the second half.

Hopefully it will awaken the sleeping dragon.

The good news is Dejean Jones did play, which means his hand must be healing up.

First game of the season is Monday night!!!!!

Not that huge? Compared to what? If people show up as expected this season UNLV will be top 10 in home attendance in the nation. If they actually sold out most games they would be top 5.

I've met him several times. He always looks like he has one foot in the grave and another on a banana peel. He's looked that way for years.

Do you remember who was ultimately behind his firing? Elaine Wynn.

Anyway, back to topic, I hope all you boys enjoy your hoops. Support those Rebels!

I don't know about that, would be nice but not going to happen. BYU for example has a higher attendance than even Thomas and Mack can fit in the arena. UNLV is not even the top in the MWC for attendance and I think even New Mexico might have us beat. We hold our own though. We averaged about 14k last season and I suspect we will get even more this year.

We are for sure a top 15 in attendance and that is not bad. Season ticket Sales are of course way up and I don't see why we can't top 16k fans. 16K would be a huge mark for us and would still not be in the top 10. Top 5? Not going to happen. You are welcome to prove me wrong and I hope you do

Thomas and Mack is not small for a NCAA basketball Arena as far as capacity goes. It holds around 18.5 K and is even larger than some NBA arenas.

Attendance is not stadium size though. Shape of the arena is a better factor, like how close the seats are together and things like that. Newer more modernized stadiums have seats that are farther apart for comfort little things like that. Thomas and Mack has the fans right on top of the court. The effect is that you are looking down on the court more so. You're actually closer to the court than you might be in many other arenas. T&M is loud!!!! I was at a game back in 89 I think it was where we set some loudness record supposedly.

The balcony is not a bad view. Plus you have the jumbotron right there to look at.

I'm biased though. I've been going to the games since the 80's when my grandma used to drop me off at the Hardrock, before the Hotel was even a dream. I'm also an Alum so yeah of course I'm going to tell you that anywhere you sit is a good seat.

Hope they can work on some defense :P

First game looked alright. The crowd of 18,187 was the largest ever for a home opener.

Freshman Anthony Bennett looked pretty legit. 9 for 13 from the field with 7 rebounds and 2 blocked shots. This kid can ball.

Bryce Dejean Jones was impressive as well. This team still has plenty of room to improve, they looked jittery to me.

Several celebrities were in attendance, we have to be one of the only college teams that has celebs attending like that, though I really would not know. UCLA?

Of course many might have heard we have two verbal commitments for top 100 HS talent. One from Findlay Prep the other from Iowa. I will be more excited when they actually sign.

Saturday night against Jacksonville State. Still some tickets left. Lets support our team guys!!!

Go Rebels!!!!!
