I have searched the forum via the search function, but still did not find a solid answer to my question.

I am moving to Las Vegas this weekend and will be looking for a good cable company. I need high speed internet (with no cap) since I work from home. I need two phone lines (one without features for work) and a good amount of channels. Does anyone have any suggestions as to a good company that would fit what I need?

I have tons of channels plus all the premium, 45 mbps internet, and two phone lines and I pay $240 now. Would love it to be cheaper, but can afford that amount.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Cox is the only cable company in this area. If you need fax then you could get phone service thru them. However if you don't use fax, consider getting an obihai voip bridge and use google voice to get free telephone service. They go on sale quite often, check www.slickdeals.net. If you are in a rush to get one now you can get one here.

Cox for phone and internet. Directv for TV their genie system is far superior to cox's tv dvr.

I agree about Cox for internet. As for TV, have you considered an antenna supplemented by online streaming sources such as netflix or hulu? We switched to that, and other than having more limited news channel selections and live sporting event telecasts, we are very happy with the arrangement and saving a lot of $$$

Cox is the only cable company we've got, really, and we have the "bundle". Although I think the phone part might be higher than other services, and it's the only time in my life I've ever had to use a modem for phone service, and had any problems with a phone line not working.
