Last month I went to Ikea in Utah. Packed. Parking lot FULL. Yesterday I went to Ikea in Tempe. Same deal. Super affordable furniture and decor, I would think in this economy Las Vegans would be looking for deals... so many people in the store, it took 30 minutes to go through checkout.

Ikea please come to Vegas!!! You are so much more interesting and affordable than RC Willey!

Maybe if we threaten them?

Claim we are going to open a Norwegian Store?

We have friends here that post on FB when they are going to an IKEA while they are in California and they collect peoples orders before they leave.

I have often times wondered why there is no IKEA here?

If you care, call their corporate offices and ask.

I have a friend here who went and toured the corporate offices of Chick-Fil-A this summer and asked them why there were none here in Vegas. Why? There is no investor who has come forward with a viable business plan that was willing to follow all the rules and regulations of being a franchise owner here. 1 of which is that you cannot work or open on Sundays. You have to be a sole owner of a Chick-Fil-A, they do not allow conglomerates, partners, etc... You can't own any other franchise. They are picky about who they let into their club.

OP you went to UTah and AZ to look for stuff? Why didn't you just order it online using that thing in the house called a Computer. I think you might have one. LOL

Yeah I wish Ikea would open one up here as judging by OP, people like to see things before they buy or like to be able to pick it up without shipping fees.

“I'm a big fan of IKEA,” said Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman. “That's the one commercial element we are missing. We may not have as many people as other cities, but we have more money.”
I wonder how long ago this was said...

Ikea... MAIL ORDER/ONLINE RETAILER!

I came from cali where Ikea's strategy was to consolidate all the locations into only a couple central locations. that being said, it would be nice if they came here.

Thanks for the tip.

Last spring when I was driving down from Park City, I stopped at the UT Ikea & loaded my SUV with 1000 pounds of Ikea stuff. It came in just under a dollar a pound.
