I completely cut the cable cord!

From listening to this forum I contacted MR. ANTENNA.
He came out to my house and installed an antenna.
I get 50 channels without any monthly bill,

After scanning the channels I classified 30 as Favorites.
Just as with cable you don't "watch" all of channels you pay for. Now, since I don't pay it doesn't matter.

Obviously you get the major networks. What surprised me was receiving HSN and other "cable" channels.
Most are in HD and come in crystal clear. I highly recommend it to anyone that would want to save the cable bill for other entertainment.

Mr. Antenna is very professional and knows his stuff. He installed the antenna and set up 2 TVs and a total of 6 rooms to receive the signal. My house was wired for TV and internet. Total cost was $329.

Here is his website:

if you get tcm i'm cutting the cable. if not - well, unless there's another all movie channel with no commercials, movies shown in the original format with no editing for language, no editing for length, no modification to fit your screen.

Most of the channels you'll get are required to broadcast. Local stations, PBS and the like. You might be able to get everything you get on TCM via Hulu or the like. I haven't had cable TV for years. I use a combination of Antenna, Hulu and sometimes subscribe to greencine.

Yep. The cable companies had better start getting smart and letting customers pick which channels they want in their packages, or they are going to get their asses handed to them like Blockbuster got slapped when Netflix came out.

Fox classic movie channel is now broadcasting over the air on channel 8.3. But there is commercials and sometimes the aspect ratio modified. Some of the crosses you bear for free TV.
