Hi all,
I was wondering what are some good things to do in Vegas for a mid 30's single guy. Obviously the strip is always there, but what are some of your favorite things involving sports, outdoors, fitness, and fun social things?

Check out Scoot City Tours for a neat ride through Red Rock Canyon Las Vegas Tours, Red Rock Canyon Tours provided by - Scoot City Tours or a horse back ride with Cowboy Trail Rides Las Vegas,NV Horseback Riding Tours in Redrock Canyon

We have done both and thought they are well worth the cost.

Do you live here? Plan to? Or just visiting?

It's a hiker's paradise. There is fishing, camping, off road biking and 4 wheeling. There is skiing, ice skating, sledding or tubing, water skiing, and boating ... all in the same day. There are a zillion golf courses too ... play year round. There are sports leagues, and all kinds of gyms that are cheap. There are zip-lines and indoor sky diving. You name it, we got it.

What do you like to do?

Here's one of many sites for local stuff: Las Vegas Coupons, Las Vegas Events, Free Things to Do in Las vegas

All sound appealing! Moving there in the spring time. Spent many a weekend doing the standard strip / Freemont St stuff, but obviously will look to do more once I'm there full time. Thanks for the tips, and I'll check out those sites for sure!

Valley of Fire! Well worth the drive, and if you take the long way back you can swing by Lake Mead and Hoover Dam. (that is what we did! Very nice drive!)

Or hit Hoover Dam first then take the North Shore Road to V of F, come back out the same gate and hit the Lost City Museum in Overton. Most people can't do all that in one day though and do it right.

If you're here in April go to the fair in Overton: Clark County Fair & Rodeo
