Are there any LV pubs or lounges that regularly show the LIVE UFC events for their customers that you could recommend. Thanks.

there is a place on blue diamond across from target(just west of the 15 past silverton) that has a big sign out front saying all UFC fights.

there are two or three places right along that strip, so i don't remember which one it is but the sign is big out front... you'll see it if you drive by.

Anyone who lives in Vegas or has done any time visiting the other part of Las Vegas where us 2 million live would not make such a stupid remark as colonies call them bars. Lounges and pubs are the most used names here and on the strip and downtown you have bars inside of casinos and lounges and pubs . The bars are many times for the cocktail waitresses to get their orders filled for the patrons of the casinos. The referral of "in the colonies we call them bars" well the colonies only consisted of 13 states on the east coast Nevada is not considered one of them. The people in Canada do not refer to us as the colonies like some English folks do they call down here the states or US. As far as showing the UFC fights they are popular here and many places show them and the sports books have them also. You can also get it on Direct tv pay per view which usually charges about $55.00 this is great for house parties. You can also just purchase tickets to the event usually on the strip.

First of all, I was joking, I don't care what people call a bar. If you say pub, people will know what you mean here. Secondly, "pub" is generally considered a British word to describe a bar.

From wikipedia's entry on the word pub,

"A pub /pʌb/, formally public house (a house "open to the public", as opposed to a private house), is a drinking establishment fundamental to the culture of Britain,[1][2] Ireland,[3] Australia,[4] Newfoundland, South Africa and New Zealand. In many places, especially in villages, a pub can be the focal point of the community. The writings of Samuel Pepys describe the pub as the heart of England."

When in Rome do as the Romans do. I been to Ireland enough to know about PUBS but I live in Las Vegas and also know about Lounges. Either way call them what you want where ever you are.

Thanks everybody...I think...I was searching for my son and his girlfriend who really aren't ready to pay the $300 a ticket at the moment to see it live...Or it may already be sold out as I write this. I have heard Twin Peaks Bar and Grill at Planet Hollywood has some sort of wristband system and I'm sure there are sports bars that broadcast it too and/or have private parties. I was just trying to do a little research for them before their plane touches down the night before the event.
