Hi All,
I am just moving to town, it looks like south strip area. I needed to know how reliable is the public transportation, because until I get established I wont have a car. I see on the CAT maps the bus goes down to silverado. Does it run often? And bus stops are they spread very far apart? Any knowledge or input would be helpful. I have a car here in NY but its older and doesnt have AC and I am also worried about it being able to pass the stringent emissions test.

Thanks in Advance

You can get where you need to go on the buses, it just takes a lot longer. Waiting at a bus stop in the heat is probably more miserable than driving with no AC. I'd advise you to sell your jalopy in NY and then buy a similarly priced car in LV, it would probably serve you better than a bus pass.

Most of the routes run once or twice an hour, a few like the Strip or Maryland PKWY run 3 or 4 times an hour.
