I'm in the process of relocating to LV. I like the southwest part of town, and central west although i haven't been down there that much.

Looking for an area that isn't on the top left corner that i won't be a minority as a caucasain in. It's my personal preference.

Where can i get this data? I thought i saw a population map somewhere but can't seem to find it?

This question has been asked before. You can search for the answers. Las Vegas is a "diverse" city. Perhaps Portland would be a better fit for you?

Yes, i come from a highly "diverse" city but live in a "white" neighborhood. Looking for the least "diverse" area. I cannot find the answer that i am looking for. Can you point me in the right direction? Perhaps my magnifying glass is cloudy.

I've had some pretty bad white neighbors in less diverse neighborhoods...
I've had some pretty bad hispanic neighbors in less diverse neighborhoods...
I've had some pretty bad black neighbors in less diverse neighborhoods...

It seems like you think i'm worried that hispanic or black neighbors are bad? That's not the case. I personally just don't feel comfortable being a minority.

Your statement is contradictory. If you don't worry they will be bad then what is the problem?

In my experience, "diverse" doesn't have the definition you have. In many "diverse" neighborhoods in LV and other cities, you would be clearly in the majority. But, even using your definition, If Las Vegas is anything like Phoenix, the divisions between one area and another are economic, not racial or ethnic. Fairly easy to sort out.

Las Vegas is an equal opportunity cesspool. It doesn't matter what part of town you go to; there are pimps, hookers, drug dealers, and aspiring rappers in every part of town, regardless of economic status. Golf course homes, high rise condos, criminals are everywhere in Las Vegas.

My quietest neighbor is a black family. The nicest maintained landscape is owned by a Mexican family. Skin color is just a generalization. Move to place where the community looks nice.

What part of town are you located in? Can you reccomend any apartment complexes that are maintained and kept up to date?
