I can't find any shuttles that pick up from Aliante/North Las Vegas to the Airport, they seem to only commute between the strip and off the strip hotels. Taxis are around $70-$80 and limo/sedan services are the same price. Since this was too expensive for a roundtrip commute and I'm going to be out of town for possibly a month or two I looked into long-term parking but not at the airport it would be too expensive. I heard that you can park at a hotel/casino close to the airport long-term, say the Palms. Anyone think this is risky or have any suggestions?

I know there is a shuttle that will pick you up from Aliante. Someone I know did this once. I'll have to see if i can dig up the info somewhere.

And...if you park at the GREEN remote lot, it's free. Security patrols the lots all day and all night. You just have to remember where you parked. And not end up like me and wander around the lots for over an hour trying to find the car. lol (yes,i did this returning from my trip last month..what a nightmare.)

I don't think the GREEN remote lot is open all the time? I could be wrong. But I know economy parking is $6 or $8?? I would just use a shuttle if I were you.

Many of the people I work with park at the MGM and then take a cab from there to the airport terminal. I haven't heard of any problems from those who have done and continue to do it.

I would not hesitate to do it for a few days. But I would be cautious going past a week.

I found transportation with Bell Trans that will pick me up from Aliante for $58.50. If anyone knows of a cheaper way, let me know please! Thank you so much guys! My husband is deploying to Afghanistan so I wanted to spend the holidays with my family. -Christina
