There are enough things to get preoccupied with in and out of the Strip that has got nothing to do with gambling. Be mindful of who you hang out with. If the person is into gambling and you happen to hang out with the person then more than likely you will be tempted to gamble as well. Have fun exploring what Clark County has to offer aside from gambling.

Venture out of state as well. Georgraphically speaking, Clark County is centrally located where you can reach many beautiful areas within a short period of time. Goodluck and enjoy Clark County!

To you, what makes Vegas special? - what makes it a good or bad place to stay? I'm really looking forward to visit the city myself

My dear uncle who was a piece of Las Vegas history himself, though you would not know his name, once said " Some cities have their own energy. It's hard to define. Paris, New York, and Las Vegas are among them."

Love the 24 hr lifestyle, numerous restaurants 24/7, great outdoors, entertainment and because of competition, low cost of living (Not low standard).

I love that there is something for everyone, most people mistakenly think that Vegas is only about drinking, gambling, and other "sinful" activities but in reality there are a variety of things that you can do both in the "tourist's areas as well as off the strip that don't involve the things that the city is know for. Another interesting this is that the city is constantly changing (you could consider this good or bad). My first trip to Vegas was 15 years ago and since that time I have visited on average 2-3 times a year and it seems that every time I go there is something new and usually something that has gone away.

Your uncle must have been a perceptive and intelligent man. I agree completely.

The only big temptation this city offers me is the Airport and the cheap flights to elsewhere! I do very little, if anything, to stimulate the local economy! I save every penny of my hard-earned money and fly out of here as often as possible!

L.A. again, 2nd week of May!

So you think that Vegas requires a greater amount of selfcontrol than other places? - how is that?

We do have everything a lot of other places have. Only we got more of it and it's closer to everybody's home.

Drinking, gambling, sex, food, drugs, every kind of over indulgence. Euphoria on a vacation sometimes translates to wanting to have that feeling permanently. People move here, want to vacation all day, every day. They run out of money and do dumb things they would normally never do, just to get more money. Put themselves in debt to keep the party hearty. Wind up homeless, deeply in debt, addicted or running back home with their tail between their legs.

If someone has no self control over their actions they need to see a therapist no matter where they live.

FYI, we got plenty of them here too, lol

You'll enjoy Las Vegas PiNielsen. Good luck to you and enjoy your visit!

Blessings
