I was just hired as an EMT for a private resort to be onsite for the construction site of thier newest property.
This company did not do any research into setting up anything. They just thought that they could hire an EMT and do nothing else and it was ok because other casinos have thier own emt's on staff. I started by contacting the state to see if I could practice as an emt-b using my licence only, or if i needed to have a medical director. I was told yes I could practice with just my state licence, I now understand that in Clark county it may be different.
I have a physician that I can set up as my medical director, I have not done this yet. what do I need to do to make this company legal in complying with the state regulations??????
