Are there local discounts available for the major production shows and big name artists like Shania, Celion, Donny and Mary ...etc ? I have come across plenty for the not as famous and less grand shows. Thanks.

These shows sell out every night. The only people who get them for free are the whales who gamble more each night than you and I make in a year. You can also get them if you know someone.

Tix4Tonight and similar aren't going to have these shows because they're going to sell out for face value anyway. But I hear Gallagher is playing at the Golden Nugget. I'll bet you can score cheap tickets for that. (And he doesn't smash watermelons anymore. So no chance of ruining any clothes.

Go to the MGM site .... they have prices for locals to the cirque shows.

If you do a search or look back several pages this was discussed a few weeks ago. Several web sites that offer discounts for locals were provided.

And, if you haven't done so already, get a Nevada Driver's License or a Seasonal Resident card. With them, you'll qualify for all those Local discounts.

It never hurts to ask about locals discounts wherever you go. What's the worst thing that happens? They say no. Often times though they will say yes. Just get into the habit of asking.
