I read Review Journal. Everyday they post a NLV incident.

I don't fully know what the boundaries are, but they report North Las Vegas.

Up here near aliante, I'm the scariest person on my block.
Aliante is OK. Its kind of like a peninsula. one way out and in. Unless you take tiny streets. Very little shades on the street side trail.

Again, WHAT? Aliante Parkway (aka Simmons ) Decatur, and the 215 are small streets?

Winter-Rabbit I suggest you come spend some time in our area. I can dang near promise that you will feel and be safe. It would make your post read much more credible. If you decide it's still to dangerous, at least you'll have hands on experience.

I'll take your offer. I am a runner. Can we run around for a tour?

I thought you wanted folks to talk badly of NLV, so no one moves there to keep property taxes low.

I was doing you a favor.

Yeah the best thing to do is drive around the valley. Pull up a few condos and whatnot ahead of time in different areas... Snoop around.
To me, that's the best way to know how you'll feel about the idea of living somewhere.
Everybody commenting is from a different part of the valley... And we all have reasons for living where we do.
I live in Providence which is Northwest. I love it, but some people say it's the boonies. Someone earlier mention Aliante... Some say that area is nice but has sketchy areas close by. Someone else said Summerlin... Summerlin tends to be snooty and senile... Then Henderson... Henderson is a municipality of itself and a bit seperated from everything.
So try it out... Bruce Dickinson says, "Use the space!"
