I just want to ask if I can be covered under my partner's medical insurance from work if we are registered domestic partners?

I would recommend asking the insurance company...

Depends on the company, I don't believe Nevada has any state laws requiring employers do this.

If it is allowed and the company pays any portion of the additional (partner's) costs, that portion the company pays additional is considered taxable income.

What is a "registered domestic partner"?

If the employer doesn't allow this, you may want to look into getting health insurance on your own. Before my ex-husband and I got married, we learned that adding him to my employer-paid insurance plan would be over $400 for both of us, and it was about half of that through Aetna. We weren't required to prove we were together, either.

It's up to the employer, we offered that since I started in 2009, at a higher employee contribution rate, just as for a spouse. Still a lot less than an individual policy, however. Currently I pay $150/month for my wife and I,
the company pays about $1,900.

Most likely not. Since both same- and opposite- gender couples can now legally marry in Nevada, in order to get the traditional "spousal" insurance benefit, you probably must marry. Also, the insurance will not be taxable for federal income tax purposes. Even if a company would grant benefits to a domestic partner, the dollar amount of the benefit would be taxable income (as "imputed income".) Spousal insurance is not table under IRS rules, no matter the gender combination.

^^This.

Your partner can handle this in a few minutes at work. Depending on the size of the company and how they handle HR (inside vs. outsource), your partner has a person, access to a website, or a phone number to a benefits administrator for the company. Your eligibility determination is not going to be answered on here.

The rules on domestic partnerships as far as health insurance goes is dependent on the individual insurance company. As the other posters have said, check with the employed's insurance company. Nevada's rules on domestic partnerships pertain to matters of property ownership and taxes. I have checked the benefits of registering us for such a partnership and can't, quite honestly, see the advantages of one. Personally, I don't want to be held responsible for my partners debts or business insolvencies, should they arise.

Perhaps so, but the fact is, no one here can answer your question in any meaningful way. Going to the source is the only way to get the answer this time. Good luck!
