Been lurking on this site for awhile, and decide to signup, a lot of good information here.

We’ve been getting down to LV at least 4 times a year for the past 5 years, now that we are empty nesters; we have decided that we would like to relocate.

The last couple of trips we spent a day with a real estate agent looking at possible properties to purchase (looking in the $300K to $400K range).
We are finding that garage space is at a real premium and not much in the area with more than dinky attached 2 or 3 car spaces.
I’m into hot rods and harleys and need some decent space (4 car min.) Any suggestions on areas we might look to find something.
We aren’t opposed to getting something with an attached 3 car and building a 2 car in the backyard if it has room (and building codes would allow).

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

If you want big yard space, check out the east side. It's older, but the yards are huge compared to the postage stamp size one's in new developments. And you can probably add on without too much fuss.
For what you want to do, you should stay out of a HOA because I doubt they will let you build another garage or storage for your toys.

Another area to look at is the older south side. They have more land attached to their homes and more freedom to do what you want.
Also the far northwest and Centennial Hills.
Good luck.
