You wimps in Vegas don't know heat. Come down to Laughlin and Bullhead - we've got ten degrees on you!

It's so hot here the rattlesnakes are swimming in the lake! :-)
You are not kidding there. I went to Mohave in BHC. Highest temp I remember was 129 and we only had a swamp cooler. Move over, rattlesnake, the Colorado has room for all when it's this hot.

The worst I remember in Vegas was summer 2005.

No doubt! In July, 9 days in a row at 110F or higher - 12th through the 20th, 115F twice, 116F two days in a row - 17 & 18th, and 117F on the 19th with the highest low that morning - 95F. Average high for the month 107F.

July 2005 was my first visit to LV when I decided to move out here in 2012 I figured I experienced the heat of summer at it's peak so moving here I all ready knew about the heat and did not hesitate about it. Each area of the country has challenges about the weather hot or cold but dealing with the heat is more sensible than freezing 8 months a year. I am just glad I was never out here before A/C was invented lol how those people did it is amazing.

2005 was our second summer here, so I thought - that's the way it is.

Scoop, How is it done in the Phoenix area? What differences are you referring to that would make it implemented correctly?
