HI there. New to this Board and have recently bought a condo in Henderson NV for a vacation home. We have been searching to find options for internet that can work well for our situation.

We will only be at the condo 1-2 weeks at a time for only a few times pre year. I have read about Cox and Century Link but would like to know if there are options available that don't push us into a contract for continuous internet service when we only need it a few weeks a year.

I think there must be others in situations similar to ours who might have some suggestions that we haven't thought of. I suppose there is also the possibility there aren't any options available other than biting the bullet and getting into an annual contract with Cox or Century Link. Any guidance available would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If you are okay with violating rules: Negotiate with your neighbors to allow you to piggyback on their connection for the short amount of time you are here using a repeater. You pay two full months of their service.

Otherwise use your phone as an ad hoc router and connect your devices through it and your 4G network.
