Again, old data. This thread is just too comical.

https://ycharts.com/indicators/seatt...mployment_rate

Your 3.3% number is from last summer, again before Minimum wage was increased to $15. My link above is the most recent number.

You are just too desperate to try to make your point you can't take the time to find and post accurate numbers about anything.

Note the "Date Updated" and "Next Release" dates. The numbers I provided are the most recent. The numbers you provided are from last summer, again, before the minimum wage was increased to $15.

You are a strange little person. I have had my fun with you for tonight.

I am going to go count my money.

The minimum wage in Seattle is $11 not $15.

So few people know that. It won't be 15 for several years.

So if increasing the minimum wage to $11 has had such a devastating impact on Seattle's economy, imagine what things will be like in a few years when the full $15 is put into effect. Thanks for proving MY point.

Actually it has had no demonstrable impact at this point. Maybe in 2020 you could form a conclusion.

And your HF article actually finds none. Your messages seem to indicate you don't follow this stuff very well.

Unemployment is up and low wage restaurant jobs are fewer. I don't need to wait 4 years to see that. It is happening today and since minimum wage was increased.

In all these pages, no one has really addressed the real issue. Wages are not the problem. Housing costs are the problem. Housing prices have increased somewhere around 85% in the last few years. This has also inflated rents for apartments. Wages have not kept up at all. The real elephant in the room is the Federal Reserve with all of their quantitative easing programs. Gotta keep that stock market up! Who cares if it is killing people at the bottom of the social ladder.

Maybe the banks should loosen loan requirements because after all, every American deserves a house, regardless of income.
