WOW, what an art critic. Maybe you should visit the place when it's one hundred and seven degrees F?

Like the guy who dropped his glasses in an art museum ad had dozens of people checking it out and photographing them, art is subjective crap at best. Art critics are just the worst idiots on the planet.

Comeon. They stated early on they used an anti-graffiti finish so it will likely wash off.

I am not sure it did anything bad though I suspect words that offend were used in views not shown in the pictures...but off hand the ones pictured did no damage...maybe added to the mystic.

I drive down I-40 four times a year. The "cadillac ranch" just west of Amarillo Tx was ridiculed as modern art baloney many, many years ago when it was first created. Let me tell you that EVERY time I drive by it a dozen or so cars are parked by its entrance and the poor cadillacs are rusted and beat-up and about ready to fall apart. So, what's up with that?

The Caddilac Ranch is at least interesting because it's not something you find in nature like big rocks. Desert is full of rocks.
Also, graffiti is encouraged at Caddilac Ranch.

Where is it in nature you find tall stacks of boulders painted in vibrant colors?

Now a bright yellow and a flaming red and a fluorescent blue all stacked?

Yes red, brown and gray and single stones are available in the desert.

We are talking of stacks with a set of colors.

And it would be neat to see those magnificent rocks you showed say dressed in a yellow sash...or a dark blue cascade. Where is old whats his name when you need him.
