My water bill is $23-$25 a month for a family of 4. That is $10-$15 less than the other 2 cities I've lived. I don't believe this stat at all.

I reside in a condo in Spring Valley (County) and our water/sewer bill for 2 people is around 140.00/yr. Less than $12/month.

I pay over $100 per month, but that is because we still have so much grass (which we would like to rip out and re-landscape, because it's just so wasteful. Oh and my kids think long luxurious showers are their G-d given rights. Flushing the toilet to get them out doesn't seem like the best way to conserve water. Anyone know or use some kind of shower timer to slowly trickle the water to a stop?? Shaming them doesn't seem to be working! We live in Henderson. Does anybody know if the water use rates are higher in Henderson than in Las Vegas?

My bills are about 50 in Henderson. No grass but I do have four trees and an arrangement of plants. Even still, The vast majority of my water usage is not for the plants. Showers, dishwasher, washing machine etc. The good thing about this is that the water going down a drain gets recycled.

just got my water bill for January...I mistakenly thought it would be next to nothing since we didn't use my sprinkler system the whole month due to all the rain we got. well, although our usage was the lowest in the history of us living in our present house (since 2009), and the usage was less than half as much as December, our bill only dropped $5. It was over $8 per 1000 gallons cost as compared to only $3.60 per 1000 gallons last summer in July & August.
