After the election there seemed to have a lot more racial incidents, some are pretty severe too! https://mobile.twitter.com/i/moments...7157830656?m=1 I checked 2.5 pages in vegas forum and didn't see any, hopefully it can stay that way!

Was thinking about being more careful/aware when going out since I am a minority. But being a blue state as well as many minorities here help I guess. Sucks that you have to think about safety when going out.

Oh cry me a river!!

The overwhelming majority of post election attacks have been on Donald Trump supporters (usually by minorities). You lost. Get over it.

Not that I know of...if anything I've noticed people being MORE considerate to one another and I live in a very diverse area.

That report is quite untrue as well.

There appears to be no credible sources on either side. All the stuff is anecdotal and some have proven to be fiction. Sound mostly like beating on empty drums.

Hate and intolerance is found everywhere, but Las Vegas is one of the better places to be to avoid it, IMHO. Diversity, tolerance, and a live-and-let-live attitude contribute to that. Any hate crimes will likely be isolated incidents and not something you need to fear.

I've actually heard of more hate crimes recently in the SF Bay Area than in Las Vegas.
