The new Case Shiller housing numbers are out today... not good:

A Look at Case-Shiller by Metro Area - Real Time Economics - WSJ

Las Vegas is down 9.1% year-over-year. Yikes.

This goes completely against supply and demand economics. Supply has been constricted due to fewer foreclosures. Demand remains the same. Prices do not go down in that scenario.
