Vegas is very difficult to meet people when you are out because most likely you are talking to people from out of town!
i have many friendly conversations with many people and might grab a snack after a workout with someone from my gym, but mainly it's been one year and the only friends come from our jobs :-( it's at the point now that we have seriously considered getting part-time jobs just to meet new people lol

coming from Boston, you would think i would not be used to the crazy heat we get here, but honestly if you are used to humidity and 90 degrees like you said, you wont have a problem at all. i honestly think the summers in boston with our 85 degree weather and 80% humidity were more brutal than a 120 degree day here. dry heat is not a problem (for me anyway, but to each his/her own)

im also 28, let me know if you move here and i'll definitely meet you for a drink!
Yes Ill def let you know for sure!
My other option is Charlotte so still trying to decide and save money in the mean time! My friend that lives there now actually said the same thing about meeting friends and how they meet people but then they leave shortly after because they are from out of town so you are not alone! Heard meetup is good but also heard that the people their are also just different so hard to meet a group of friends it sounds like!

I think it is because we have so many people on so many different schedules.

That can make it tougher since if you do meet someone there is about a 1/3 chance they work similar hours.

I would think you would LOVE it here.

I know we do !
