As a Denver Broncos fan the Raiders are one of my least favorite teams, but I'm still psyched about getting an NFL team here. It's a bonus that my team will play here once a year. I will certainly go to that game every season. Hockey is easier for me to support. I don't have a west coast team so the Golden Knights will be my 2nd favorite team.

Never lived where there was an NFL team. Closest was The Stillerz 100 miles away. Most northern West Virginians are Steelers and Pirates fans. But never could get that interested in pro football, I'm not devoting a whole Sunday to any game unless it's the Mountaineers. If I'm able to go to the games maybe I' would.

The real Raiders fans are based in Los Angeles and we will be coming to every home game in Nevada. The Los Angeles Raiders of Las Vegas will do well.

I'm not a Raider's fan, and doubt I ever would be, even if they are in Las Vegas. They have never struck me as being the classiest of organizations. Their reputation alone makes me wonder just how sincere they are about staying in Las Vegas and how quickly they would abandon the city if things didn't go well.

I know how much Las Vegas wants an NFL team, but I am skeptical about the Raiders. I suppose, however, that even if an expensive stadium were to be built it could always be used for other events if the Raiders decided to skip town.

I will be a Raiders fan, but my primary team will always be my hometown Jaguars.

They will be joined by the fake Raider fans of Las Vegas, where everything is fake, including the sky in some parts.

I don't have a loyalty to any specific NFL team the way I do in baseball; there have been certain teams I've taken a liking to, such as the Seahawks in the Dave Kreig / Steve Largent era, the Eagles with Ron Jaworski and Harold Carmichael, or the Jets in the days of Namath and Don Maynard. And while I no longer live in the area, I was a resident of Los Angeles in the early 1980's when the Raiders were at their best.

The team has a mystique of its own, and always will, so their "freebooter" reputation doesn't surprise me.

Another reason to avoid the Strip.
